To complement the superyacht industry's biggest Virtual Boat Show, kicking off on 27 April, BOAT International will be rolling out five days of exclusive, curated content for spectators.
The show will be broken down into areas of interest – New Build; Brokerage; Charter; Design & Luxury; Tenders & Toys – and come complete with other sideshows, such as the world's largest superyacht quiz and a virtual cocktail competition.
"Nothing like this has been attempted before, and we're incredibly excited about its potential," said BOAT International co-CEO Toby Moore. "The editorial content is first class – and we hope everyone joins us on 27 April for our first Virtual Boat Show."
New Build will feature video stories of some of the most exciting motor and sailing yachts to be delivered in the last six months, and give everyone an opportunity to hear how these amazing superyachts were conceived and then created.
On the Brokerage day, Virtual Boat Show visitors will be able to step inside some of the best superyachts for sale with video walkthroughs and exclusive captain interviews. Visitors will also be able to quiz leading brokerage figures on the state of the industry.
Design & Luxury is a key part of any successful yacht show, and it's no different during our Virtual Boat Show, where we will interview key figures from the design field and get exclusive tips on refreshing your superyacht.
With the Charter industry in lockdown, what better chance to get acquainted with the best yachts for charter, through video interviews with captains and brokers? Discover which trends are driving the market – and where you should book your next superyacht holiday.
No superyacht is complete without Tenders & Toys, and we'll be examining exactly what's out there for prospective buyers, and learning first-hand how to design and build the perfect limo, open and sport tenders.
"As you can see, there's lots happening during the first Virtual Boat Show week," said Moore. "I hope you enjoy everything our talented team have put together for you."
