British studio Winch Design has collaborated with Frers Design on a brand-new, 35-metre sailing yacht concept known as Flowform. Announced at this year's Monaco Yacht Show, the design will be "brought to life" through an immersive visual experience at the show's Design & Innovation Hub.
Inspired by the "essence of flow itself", Flowform is a high-performance cruiser designed to be equally as comfortable with family cruising as she is with regatta racing. Her trim, dynamic exterior (distinguished from other models by a transparent deckhouse) is owed to Frers Design, while Winch is behind her unconventional, organic interiors.
Read More/News anchors: Day one at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025Flowform's interior is "an ode to the three natural elements of sailing": water, wind and light. Living spaces are defined by curved lines, subtle wave motifs and soft metallic details, complemented by a bright, natural palette of wood and leather.
At the yacht's heart lies an open-plan living area with saloon, dining area and study. The saloon is bathed in natural light through glass skylights, offering a direct connection to the sailing action above, while the stepped mast feature adds "architectural depth". The owner's suite is warmer in tone, with a curved Foglizzo & Winch Design leather headboard as its signature feature. Overheard, a wave-inspired ceiling design with a skylight brings light into the room and frames a view of the sails above.
Outdoors, Flowform's flush deck (complete with working cockpit) is positioned aft of the twin steering wheels for seamless operation. A full-beam tender garage accessed via the transom enhances practicality and leisure.
According to BOATPro, Winch Design is responsible for the interiors of 85 yachts, including the 162-metre Dubai, the 156-metre Dilbar and the Art Deco Phoenix 2.
