Dutch shipyard Damen Yachting has announced the sale of its latest Amels 60 superyacht, now codenamed Project Vogue. The 60-metre yacht is currently under construction in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, with a scheduled delivery date of 2027.

She belongs to the ever-popular and "charter-ready" Amels 60 series, introduced in 2019, with nine sisterships now on the water, according to BOATPro. The model's distinctive look – characterised by geometric windows, taut bold lines and a slim raked bow – is owed to Espen Øino, while Damen Yachting is responsible for the naval architecture.

Notable sisterships include the first unit in the series, Come Together, and the second unit, Entourage, which won a Neptune at the 2024 World Superyacht Awards. The yard recently celebrated the delivery of the latest yacht from the series, QU2.

While her predecessors are decorated in interiors by Winch Design, Harrison Eidsgaard and Studio Indigo (to name but a few of the collaborating studios), Project Vogue will be the first from the model to feature an interior penned by Rome-based designer Laura Sessa.

According to the yard, Sessa will bring her personal Italian design language to Project Vogue, creating living spaces with an identity shaped around the owner's preferences. Initial renders reveal strong lines, sculptural forms, tactile materials and a bold colour palette, with inspiration drawn from "travel, nature and the beauty of everyday life".

"The owner was looking for a yacht that combined proven technical foundations with a high degree of refinement and personalisation, and the Amels 60 answered that brief extremely well," commented Konstantin Kolpakov of Arcon Yachts, who was involved in the sale. "The discussions with Damen Yachting have been very constructive, and we are looking forward to seeing that vision take shape."

The Amels 60 is best known for design features such as a forward helipad, a folding balcony in the owner's suite and its sundeck, at a boundary-pushing 162 square metres. Key specs include a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, a volume of 853GT and capacity for 24 persons (12 guests and 12 crew plus the Captain).

Rob Luijendijk, commercial director at Damen Yachting, concluded: "This latest sale is another clear indication of how strongly the Amels 60 continues to resonate with the market. It has earned a leading position in the 60-metre segment by offering owners the confidence of a proven Amels Limited Editions yacht together with genuine freedom to create something distinctly their own."

According to BOATPro, Damen Yachting has 11 active superyacht projects, including its Amels builds. Earlier this summer, the shipyard waved goodbye to the third unit from its Amels 80 series, Germaine.
