Where to charter a superyacht in November

15 October 2026 • Written by Georgia Boscawen

November marks the beginning of the winter season, but knowing where and what to charter can be challenging, especially if you want to explore less-travelled destinations. BOAT takes a look at the best charter destinations in November and which charter yachts are still available...

Soon we will see a percentage of the fleet migrate from the summer Mediterranean season to warmer (or cooler) climes. Winter sun in the Caribbean remains the most popular choice, but there are many destinations to charter a yacht in November, from the Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands to Baja California peninsula, New Zealand and Australia; it just depends on what your idea of the perfect superyacht charter looks like.

"November tends to be on the cusp of ‘shoulder season’ between Summer and Winter," says Ocean Independence US senior charter broker Daphne D’Offay. "On this side of the world, we tend to see the Bahamas, Turks & Caicos and the BVI as often the hot spots." She adds that the further south you go, the warmer the water gets and in November, these areas are not yet overcrowded.

Comprising more than 700 islands, the Bahamas is a superyachting paradise. Its proximity to Florida makes it an easy hop for those coming from the US and a well-connected long-haul journey for European charter clients. "[The Bahamas] is also a wonderful destination for a memorable Thanksgiving getaway, offering the opportunity to escape to the sunshine and celebrate with family and friends in complete privacy and comfort."
