Pratesi launches dedicated yachting division

Italian luxury interiors brand Pratesi has unveiled plans to launch a dedicated yacht division after numerous requests from superyacht owners, designers and builders.

The new ‘Special Projects’ unit will works specifically with yacht architects, interior designers and shipbuilder’s design departments to create bespoke linens and homewares that fit into the style of each unique yacht while offering the craftsmanship and quality that Pratesi has long been known for.

A recent collaboration between Pratesi and Benetti

Having long been a favourite among the superyacht set, Pratesi is no stranger to the industry and has provided made-to-measure linens to some of the world’s largest yachts as well as working with the most prestigious builders, such as Benetti (pictured).

The launch also marks the next step in Pratesi’s ambitious regeneration plan - which began with the appointment of new COO Simone Bocchio earlier this year. Looking to its heritage as a traditional ‘Made in Italy’ company, Pratesi celebrated its 110th anniversary this year with the opening of a new showroom and headquarters at Palazzo Serbelloni, Milan. This carefully curated space will serve as the base for the new yacht division and offer private appointments to owners interested in the service.

“This new Special Projects division crowns a 20-year commitment of Pratesi in the yachting industry,” said Simone Bocchio. “We were forerunners of made-to-measure and we had the privilege to serve the most prestigious shipyards of the world and their estimated ship-owners. With this new business unit we aim to expand our leadership position and further contribute to the international growth of the Pratesi brand.”
