Farfetch launches luxury fashion yacht delivery service

30 July 2015 • Written by Zoe Dickens

We’ve all been there. You’re relaxing over a cocktail on your yacht in Porto Cervo or Capri and the owner of a neighbouring yacht pops over with an invite to an impromptu black tie dinner. The only problem is, your holiday capsule collection of bikinis and kaftans isn’t quite going to make the grade.

While in seasons past you would have had to make do with the best the local boutiques had to offer, thanks to the wonders of modern technology and the savvy people over at Farfetch, you can now have an entire wardrobe of designer gowns delivered straight to your yacht.

Working with 13 of the Mediterranean’s top marinas, Farfetch and Away allows customers to have their order delivered to nearby partner boutiques. They will then bring your purchases to the marina to meet you and allow you to try them on from the comfort of your own yacht. And if it doesn’t fit? Simply hand it back to the delivery man and they take care of the rest.

To take advantage of the service customers simply need to call the dedicated number (+44 3331500239) to place their order and select their preferred marina from the following:

Marina Grande (Capri, Italy)

Marina di Porto Cervo (Sardinia, Italy)

Marina di Portofino (Liguria, Italy)

Porto di Favignana (Molo San Leonardo, Italy)

Marina Marbella, Puerto Banus (Andalucía, Spain)

Balearic Marina de Ibiza Magna (Ibiza, Spain)

Port Vell Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain)

Port Camille Rayon (Alpes-Maritimes, France)

Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes, France)

Port de la Plaisance de Bonifacio (Corsica, France)

Baia di Villagonia (Sicily, Italy)

New Port (Mykonos, Greece)

Santorini (Greece)

With new season delights from the likes of Giorgio Armani, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino on offer for both men and women, there’s now no excuse to be anything less that sartorially perfect this summer.
