Indian fine jewellery brand Nirav Modi will open its first European boutique on Old Bond Street in London on September 5, 2016.

With six boutiques across the world, including locations in New York, Hong Kong and Mumbai, Nirav Modi has become known for its unique, contemporary jewels inspired by sources as disparate as the paintings of Rubens and Monet to Art Nouveau architecture and children’s toys.

Designed by luxury French interiors brand to know Atelier Marika Chaumet, the 2,300 square foot London store has been decked out in mother-of-pearl, fine metals and velvet to create an elegant space reflecting the brand’s jewels. Artistic touches come via a handcrafted paper window frieze and an innovative hanging bridal counter making the space as much an experience as a retail environment.

The boutique will be home to some of Nirav Modi’s most iconic fine jewellery collections, including the stretchable diamond bangles and rings of the Embrace collection (pictured), the Jasmine collection featuring a diamond cut exclusive to the brand and the classic Celestial collection. The boutique will also be home to some of Nirav Modi’s unique and limited edition pieces which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
