The event

Taking place from May 15-21, the third edition of the MonteNapoleone Yacht Club was an unqualified success, with previews of the latest projects by internationally renowned shipyards on display in some of the luxury boutiques of Milan’s MonteNapoleone District.

This year there was the welcome addition of an open-air exhibition entitled Italy Rules the Waves, organised in partnership with Boat International, as well as a round table discussion on “Italian Avantgarde: design, industry and sustainability in boat-building”.

The guests

Guglielmo Miani (pictured), president of the Via MonteNapoleone Association and the man behind the event, said: “Despite being held at a distance from the sea, MonteNapoleone Yacht Club brings together all sectors of the yachting industry and enthusiasts. This year, with the round table involving leading figures in various fields, it also raised awareness about protecting the marine environment. We are extremely satisfied with the high level of approval of the brands, the shipyards involved and their guests, which enabled us to highlight the role of Italian boat-building.”
