$1M Price Drop on Expedition Yacht Pacific Provider

The 48.76 metre expedition yacht Pacific Provider, listed for sale by Neal Esterly at Fraser, has seen a $1,000,000 price reduction.

Originally built in 1978 as an offshore supply vessel by US yard Blount Marine, a 2008 rebuild transformed her into the Pacific Provider expedition yacht by adding a superstructure to include: guest staterooms, additional crew quarters, a restaurant-sized galley, lounge, dining room, indoor and outdoor bar areas and a sun deck.

Accommodation is for 12 guests in six equal-sized cabins with a flexible configuration between double or twin bedrooms, all with entertainment centres, flatscreen television sets and en suite bathroom facilities.

The saloon is on the upper deck and furnished in a tasteful neutral décor featuring plenty of lounge seating and a complete marble topped wet bar, perfect for socializing. For entertainment, there is a 65-inch Samsung HD television screen and a Yamaha stereo surround sound system. A separate dining area is forward, in an elegant setting, seating all 12 guests in comfort.

Up on the massive sun deck is a seven-person hot tub, two dining tables seating 12 guests and an array of outdoor sofas and sun loungers. Her top speed is 11 knots and her power comes from two 650hp General Motors 12V149 diesel engines.

With a 91,000-gallon fuel capacity Pacific Provider can reach further than most ships of its kind and stay there for extended periods of time. Her 12,000-mile range can make the most remote atoll or island easily accessible.

Lying in San Diego, California, Pacific Provider is now asking $1,950,000.
