55m Turquoise superyacht Turquoise sold

12 October 2023 • Written by Nick Jeffery

The 55.4-metre motor yacht Turquoise has been sold in an in-house deal at IYC with Michel Chryssicopoulos representing the seller and Matthew Stone introducing the buyer.

Turquoise was delivered by Turkey’s Proteksan-Turquoise shipyard in 2011 to a design by Dubois Naval Architects and was put on the market a year ago following a 2022 refit, completed in 2023. Work included an upgrade of her interiors – which were overhauled in 2014 by H2 Yacht Design and again in 2019 – as well as a new metallic hull paint, teak caulking and her 10-year class survey.

Turquoise was asking €20,500,000.

At 755 GT, she offers accommodation for up to 12 guests with a six-cabin layout. These include a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, with its own private office, along with a VIP suite. Four guest cabins, comprising three doubles and a twin, are found on the lower deck arranged around a central staircase and lobby, while further quarters sleep a crew of 13.

An open-plan saloon and 12-seat formal dining table on the main deck are served by a well-appointed galley and pantry to port. Up a level, a private upper saloon is complete with its own pantry — plus a baby grand piano — and leads out onto an al fresco dining area.

The sundeck houses a bar and dining area, shaded by a hard top, with a Jacuzzi forward, protected by wraparound glass. An inflatable waterslide can be set up from the sundeck.

Twin 1,500hp Caterpillar engines give her a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 13.5 knots with zero-speed stabilisers. She now joins the Caribbean charter market with IYC.

Turquoise was asking €20,500,000.
