The 39.8-metre motor yacht Maverick has been sold in a deal with Charles Jones of Burgess and Brandon Kummer and Steven Andereck of Kitson Yachts representing the seller, whilst Mark Woodmansey and Jiyu Xie of Burgess represented the buyer.
Maverick was delivered in 2013 by Italian yard Admiral, a brand of The Italian Sea Group, constructed in aluminium to a design by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, with naval architecture and interiors by Admiral Centro Stile. She was built as the first in the yard’s Admiral Impero 40 series, which, the following year, saw her take home an award at the World Superyacht Awards.
According to her brokers, Maverick's 479GT interior volume "rivals that of many yachts over 50 metres". A plethora of spacious and inviting communal areas, both inside and out, are noted to make her a "favourite" in the market.
Living spaces inside include a generous lounge and formal dining area on the main deck, while the upper deck features a skylounge ideal for entertainment. In terms of design, Maverick is host to a predominantly neutral colour palette, with contemporary furniture, integrated lighting and natural textures and materials offset against rich wood flooring and lacquered surfaces.
Accommodation on board is for up to 11 guests in a five-cabin layout and there are further quarters for a crew of nine. A full-beam master suite can be found on the main deck, featuring a private office and a his-and-hers en suite, while the lower deck is home to two forward-facing VIP cabins, a double cabin and a twin cabin.
Outside, the star of the show is the elongated sundeck, with its forward Jacuzzi, lounge area to aft and built-in projector screen for outdoor movie nights. Below, the upper deck aft boasts an al fresco dining area and another welcoming lounge space, while a sizeable sunpad can be found on the foredeck. And for those seeking water enjoyment, a beach club at sea level (revealed by the opening transom) is stocked with watersports equipment and toys for all to enjoy.
The RINA-classed yacht is powered by twin MTU engines, propelling her to a 20-knot maximum speed, a 14-knot cruising speed and a range of 4,950 nautical miles. Key specs include a beam of 8.4 metres and a 2.5-metre draught, and she is also fitted with at-anchor stabilisers for additional comfort.
Maverick was last asking €10,899,000 with VAT paid.
