Jan Jaap Minnema in the Monaco office of Fraser Yachts sends me the news that he’s signed the central agency for sale of Heesen’s 40m Brazil (formerly Simone). Built in 1993 in aluminum and refitted as recently as 2008, she accommodates 10 guests in five cabins and cruises at 15 knots with a top speed of 19 knots. Lying in San Remo, her asking price has been set at €9.9 million.
