The 67-metre Damen Yachting support vessel Dapple has been listed for sale with Ben Ritchie of Y.CO.
Dapple was built for an avid scuba diver as a support vessel to a mothership and customised with a full dive centre and large professional decompression chamber for extra safety when travelling off the beaten track.
She was delivered in 2014 and her current owner has spent over $5,000,000 on refit work and technical upgrades since 2020, with a further $2,000,000 estimated to be spent in the winter 2023 yard period, including a 10-year class special survey.
The steel and aluminium vessel offers 250 square metres of deck "cargo space", a 45-square-metre garage and a 35-square-metre dive store. Among her many toys and tenders, she carries an 11.5-metre Intrepid 375 Nomad, a 7.5-metre Protector, eight-metre custom landing craft, all launched a recovered via a knuckle boom carne. Dapple is also capable of supporting helicopter or submarine operations, with a maximum helicopter take-off weight of 4,850kg.
Accommodating 20 crew in 13 cabins in support mode, Dapple can equally operate as a standalone explorer with three of the cabins used as guest staterooms and the crew reduced to 16. Additionally, there are two extra bunks if required – one Pullman and one in the hospital. The interior has a comfortable, open-plan saloon and generously sized crew mess in addition to a fully-equipped gym and ample garage space for extra toys or equipment such as dive gear.
One of her coolest interior features is the wheelhouse which offers 360-degree views, with a seating area for guests to witness the action.
The 1142GT, LR-classed yacht for sale has a maximum speed of 22 knots and a range of 8,700 nautical miles at 13.5 knots.
Dapple is asking €28,000,000 and will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show.
