85m Lürssen superyacht Gigia listed for sale

The 85-metre Lürssen superyacht Gigia has been listed for sale with Christian Bakewell of Burgess. According to BOATPro, the motor yacht was last sold in 2019. 

Gigia was delivered in 2017 as Areti, constructed in steel and aluminium by the German shipyard to Passenger Yacht Code. According to her broker, she "blends the expertise of two iconic names in the superyacht world", with British design studio Winch Design responsible for both her fluid exterior profile and classic American-inspired interiors. The 85-metre last completed refit works in 2024.

Gigia's mammoth interior volume – which exceeds 2,850GT – offers accommodation on board for 20 guests in 10 cabins. The private owner's deck is a highlight, host to a lounge, bar, dining area, terrace and a private jacuzzi, all in addition to a suite with his and hers bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe and a dressing room. The suite also benefits from sweeping panoramic views forward, with privacy paramount to the design.

The remaining guest accommodation is found on the main and lower decks, comprising two VIP double suites and seven double and twin suites. Meanwhile, the are quarters for a crew of 28.

When it comes to living and entertaining spaces, Gigia has more than enough to satisfy every guest, with Winch utilising neutral fabrics and lavish woodwork to make each space unique. Unsurprisingly, she is popular on the charter market.

The main deck alone is host to a classically-designed formal lounge and dining room seating 18, with finishing touches including a grand piano and a unique wine presentation and storage area. 

Exterior spaces on board also prove a favourite among guests, with the bridge deck aft offering a large jacuzzi pool, sit-up bar and generous sun pads. Above, the sundeck is host to a huge circular sunpad.

Gigia stands out for her onboard amenities, including the fully-equipped spa. Located on the lower deck, this space is a relaxation haven, complete with multiple pools, a steam room, sauna, ice plunge pool, a dedicated massage and treatment room and a hair salon.

For those seeking a workout, there is a fully-equipped gym on the bridge deck. The yacht also has an expansive beach club with a large swim platform, offering easy access to the sea.

Additional highlights on board include a large foredeck helipad (capable of holding an H135 helicopter or equivalent) and ample storage for tenders and toys in two main deck garages, where there are two 9.6-metre Yachtwerft Meyer tenders, one open and one limousine.

Powered by twin 2,680hp MTU diesel engines, the yacht for sale can reach a top speed of 17 knots, with a cruising speed of 14 knots and a transoceanic range of 7,500 nautical miles. Key specs include a 14.8-metre beam and a draught of 3.9 metres. 

The Lürssen build also features four Quantum stabilisers for comfort at anchor and underway, and a dynamic positioning system that avoids anchoring in environmentally sensitive areas.

Gigia is asking €169,000,000.
