The 30.14 metre Moonen motor yacht Pura Vida has been sold by Alex G Clarke at Denison Yachting after just a few months on the market, with Mike McCarthy at HMY Yacht Sales representing the buyer.
Designed by Rene Van Der Velden, Pura Vida was built in aluminium by Dutch yard Moonen to Bureau Veritas class and delivered in 2009 while notable recent upgrades include a complete exterior repaint and new interior décor. A beach-house style interior by Rhoades Young accommodates eight guests in four cabins consisting of a full beam master suite, VIP suite and two twins, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, four crew are accommodated in two twin cabins.
The main saloon has warm walnut joinery matched with fine leathers and fabrics, a large settee to port and an eclectic range of armchairs and coffee tables. To starboard is an entertainment centre including a 42-inch retractable television screen while further forward is a dining area with seating for eight guests.
The sheltered aft deck is arranged for al fresco entertaining and dining while up on the sun deck is a port helm station forward and a large guest area offering built in upholstered seating and two tables to port and a wet bar and barbecue to starboard, all sheltered by a carbon fibre hard top. Twin 1,800hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a range of 2,000 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots and she is fitted with Trac digital fin zero speed stabilisers.
Pura Vida was asking $5,250,000.
