The 50 most expensive yachts for sale now

How much does a superyacht cost? The answer is not so simple. Much like a luxury watch or car, the asking price depends on a variety of factors such as age, pedigree and finish, with the largest and newest vessels peaking into the hundreds of millions. To give you a better idea, BOAT International rounds up the 50 most expensive yachts currently listed for sale, starting with the 115.1-metre Ahpo...

Athos

Asking €43,000,000 with Fraser

Builder: Holland Jachtbouw
Length: 64m
Designers: Hoek Design Naval Architects, Peter Mikic Interiors

At 64.3 metres, Athos is the largest two-masted schooner in the world and is designed for true high-performance sailing across the globe. The sailing yacht was launched in 2010 and reborn 12 years later following a major refit project at Royal Huisman that saw her stern extended by 1.25 metres (among other major structural changes). No wonder Athos took home the award for Best Refitted Yacht at the World Superyacht Awards 2023. Another big-ticket charter yacht, Athos comes equipped with a large selection of water toys, including sailing dinghies, wakeboards, Jet Skis, paddleboards, fishing gear and diving equipment.

W

Asking €42,500,000 with Edmiston

Builder: Feadship
Length: 57.6m
Designers: Feadship De Voogt, Bannenberg & Rowell

Delivered as Larisa in 2013, W cruised under the same owner until she was sold in 2019. A 10-month refit soon followed, which saw W emerge from Feadship's Holland facilities with a gleaming silver hull, a larger Jacuzzi and an all-new television lounge. "The best thing about W is that she is a steel-hulled Feadship – and nothing even comes close," said W's current owner. "She gives you the freedom to explore anywhere in the world, unlike coastal yachts built by other companies." Her spacious interior – originally designed by Bannenberg & Rowell, with touches from A La Mer during her refit – includes a grand master suite with a private balcony and large walk-in wardrobe with dressing room.

Excellence V

Asking €42,000,000 with Edmiston

Builder: Feadship
Length: 46.2m
Designers: Dubois Naval Architects, RWD

The smallest entry on this list, Excellence V's all-star design team is what earns her hefty price tag. A design highlight is the main saloon, which features a bar that extends outdoors and "innovative rotating seating" that allows guests to admire the views from every angle. Her sundeck also benefits from this versatility, with the dining and lounge area functioning while fully open or semi-enclosed and air-conditioned in balmier weather. Accommodation is across five cabins, including an owner's suite with "expansive views", a spacious dressing room and a his-and-hers en suite.

Builder: Benetti
Length: 63.5m
Designers: Benetti, FM – Architettura d’interni

Delivered in 2016, Moca stands out for her voluminous sundeck – designed as a children's playroom for fun and relaxation – which is accessed directly through the bridge, as is a full helm station. Other highlights include her accommodation (particularly the upper deck master and two VIP suites) and a formal dining area with an extendable walnut table for larger gatherings. According to the broker, Moca is listed for sale in "pristine" condition following a major refit in 2024. A previous multimillion-dollar refit was also completed in 2021.

Builder: Amels
Length: 55m
Designers: Tim Heywood, Laura Sessa Design

The last in the popular Amels 180 Limited Edition series, Galene is characterised by an al fresco focus. On cooler nights, the skylounge offers a cosy retreat, complete with television and a "plush sofa", that converts into a cinema. Accommodation is across five cabins, looked after by a crew of 13.

Book Ends

Asking €39,900,000 with Ocean Independence

Builder: Heesen
Length: 50m
Designers: Omega Architects, Van Oossanen Naval Architects, Cristiano Gatto Design

Book Ends follows Aquamarine as the second unit in the Dutch shipyard's 5000 Aluminium series. She was built by an experienced yachtsman and is in as-new condition with low hours and light owners use. Accommodation is for 12 guests in five cabins, including a full-beam (nine-metre) owner's cabin forward on the main deck with marble bathroom, separate study and walk-in wardrobe. Book Ends' flex-use beach club is also worth noting – the broker envisions the space converted to a sea-level gym for morning workouts, a lounge area during the day and an entertainment space by night.

King Benji

Asking $39,500,000 with Denison Yachting and Merle Wood & Associates

Builder: Dunya Yachts
Length: 46.7m
Designers: Gregory C. Marshall, Design Unlimited

King Benji 's interiors – from British studio Design Unlimited – clinched her a win at the BOAT Design & Innovation Awards 2025. And no wonder, with a custom sushi bar, bamboo ceilings and undersea-theme guest rooms (including triggerfish, squid and octopus wallpaper) for guests to enjoy. "I think if you’re lucky enough to be a guest on board there would be many details that reveal themselves to you over a number of days," said one of the judges. A Teppanyaki bar, 360-degree crow's nest and dual-temperature Jacuzzi, among other luxuries, have also earned her quite the charter reputation.

A proven charter platform, British studio RWD took full advantage of Samurai's 1,029GT interiors to create spacious (and flexible) accommodation for 12 guests in five light and modern cabins. A fun example is the private study on the bridge deck, which can be converted into a double cabin with its own shower if required. The master cabin, meanwhile, measures 87.1 square metres and features its own lounge area and architectural skylight. Project Secret

Asking €38,500,000 with Edmiston

Builder: Tankoa Yachts
Length: 51.5m
Designers: FM – Architettura d’interni, Philippe Briand

Tankoa Yachts' 51.5-metre Project Secret was listed for sale with Edmiston in February 2024, according to BOATPro. Italian studio FM Architettura has created "soft, calming" interiors, while Philippe Briand is behind the exterior design, and Vitruvius Yachts is responsible for the naval architecture. The yacht will feature a "highly advanced" hybrid parallel propulsion system that sets this build apart, but further standout features include a sea-view gym, an infrared sauna and a "seaside dipping pool" on the swim platform. A retracting glass panel by the dining area also fosters guests' connection with the ocean.
