Tansu motor yacht Bartender sold
by Malcolm Maclean
Previously known as Nomade and built in steel and aluminium by Turkish yard Tansu Yachts to a design by Riza Tansu, she was delivered in 2011 and is RINA classed and MCA compliant. Notably, she went on to win a Neptune trophy at the 2012 ShowBoats International Design awards with the judges complimenting her ‘less is more’ styling.
An interior by B&B Italia using wooden floors and stark white walls accommodates 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a main deck master suite and four guest cabins below all with en suite bathroom facilities. Beds in the guest cabins are configured as two doubles and two twins with each twin having a Pullman berth turning them into triple cabins and bringing the guest complement up to 12.
The design emphasis is on maximizing outdoor areas for added enjoyment while cruising the Mediterranean and her vast aft deck, suitable for relaxation as well as tender storage, is the same length as the main saloon. In the saloon of this stylish superyacht, the minimalist décor is offset by a pair of large, bright red sofas facing each other across the wooden floors and there is a separate intimate dining area for 10 guests.
Two outside stairways on either side of the saloon lead up to an impressive upper deck offering a bar, seating, sun beds and welcome shade beneath two removable Bimini tops. Twin Caterpillar 1,300hp engines deliver a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 12 knots and she is fitted with Trac zero speed stabilisers.
Bartender was asking €7.8 million.
