The superyachts for sale at the Miami Yacht Show 2019

Built in steel and aluminium by the Dutch superyacht yard Oceanco to a design by The A Group with delivery in 1997 and most recently refitted in 2015, Lazy Z has benefitted from the care and attention of a highly experienced captain and crew. An earlier 2012 $4 million refit included exterior paint and teak deck work, interior decor, installation of Quantum zero speed stabilisers, 15-year Lloyd's Class inspections and survey, and a complete service of all mechanical, plumbing and piping systems.

Minderella was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship with naval architecture by De Voogt and interior design by Terence Disdale with delivery in 1986 and refits in 2003 and 2016. The $20 million 2016 refit, carried out at the Derecktor Shipyard in Florida, saw her receive new paint, entertainment systems, audio/visual equipment and soft furnishings. She went on to become a finalist at the 2017 World Superyacht Awards in the Best Refit category.

Delivered by Trinity Yachts in 2010 and most recently refitted in 2018, Aquasition was built to be ABS-classed and MCA compliant. She boasts an aluminium hull and superstructure with teak decking and can sleep up to 10 guests in four king-sized cabins and one twin cabin with a crew of nine. Her $1.5 million refit early in 2017 included a full repaint.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Amels, Kamalaya was delivered in 2013 as one of the yard’s 180 Limited Edition series and has always been privately used. Following in the footsteps of the successful Amels Limited Edition 171 and 177 series, the 180 series is also designed by Tim Heywood and Remi Tessier, at 660 gross tons, she offers a large interior volume.

Designed by Paolo Caliari, Kinta was built in steel and aluminium by Turkish yard Turquoise Yachts to ABS class and MCA coded with delivery in 2008. A full interior refit in 2012 supervised by Jean-Guy Verges saw her receive new dark wenge wood flooring, new soft goods and ceilings refreshed in a light camel colour.

Designed by Stefano Righini, Miss Moneypenny V was built in GRP by Italian yard Overmarine to ABS class and delivered in 2012 as hull number seven of the yard's popular Mangusta 165 range. There are four adaptable double cabins for eight guests, each with an en-suite bathroom with shower. The guest layout is very versatile and includes Pullman berths for children that can increase the guest capacity to 12. In addition, there are quarters for six crew.

With an interior and exterior design by Donald Starkey, and built in aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to Lloyd's class and MCA compliancy, with delivery in 2002, Broadwater has been carefully maintained to the highest standards and underwent a full exterior repaint along with interior upgrades in 2013. Her original build specification called for a seaworthy yacht capable of cruising anywhere in the world including the shallow waters of the Bahamas.

Silver Lining was built in GRP by US yard Christensen to ABS class and delivered in 2016 as the first superyacht from the yard since its buyout in 2015. Interior designer Kimberly Graham took full advantage of the massive interior spaces to create six cabins for 12 guests decorated in silk-finished black American walnut panelling. The cabin layout comprises a main-deck master suite, two VIP suites, a double and two twins, all with entertainment centres, satellite television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities. There is further accommodation for up to ten crewmembers in five cabins.

With exterior styling and interior design by Reymond Langton, Excellence V was built in steel and aluminium by German yard Abeking and Rasmussen to Lloyd's class and delivered in 2012. She has since been carefully maintained with regular upgrades and presents immaculately. In 2017 this included a superstructure repaint, full main engine service and a rebuild of the generators.

One of the largest yachts for sale on display at the Miami Yacht Show will be the 95.2 metre Lurssen Kismet. Designed by Espen Oeino and delivered in 2014, she offers accommodation for 16 guests and 20 crew and boasts a whole host of high-end amenities including a full-service spa, gym, winter garden, helipad and tractable outdoor fireplace.
