The 1995 Dufour & Sparks sailing yacht EYAHNE is an exceptionally comfortable world cruiser boasting designs by Bruce Farr. She is easily handled by a small crew or single-handedly. EYAHNE’s high-performance capabilities allow her to be effortlessly maneuvered on large seas. Her dual-cockpit design separates the sailing action from guests to ensure optimal comfortability in the center cockpit. EYAHNE’s mast and Navtec rod rigging were replaced, and her engine was rebuilt in 2012. In 2014, most of the running rigging was replaced, and in 2019 she was hauled for bottom paint, shaft bearings and zincs along with new G-31 AGM batteries.
EYAHNE’s full-beam main salon is illuminated with natural light from the many surrounding windows. The space is elegant and welcoming, with mirroring dining tables and settees to port and starboard. There is plenty of room for guests to gather and socialize after a long day on the water and enjoy a movie on the 48” TV. There is ample storage in the main salon area, ensuring guests can comfortably travel with all necessary belongings. Aft of the salon is the well-equipped galley with all the required appliances to prepare meals while onboard.
EYAHNE welcomes 10 guests to spend restful nights in her five staterooms. The master stateroom is to port with a queen-sized berth, opening hatch, opening portlight, ensuite head with Raritan electric head and an air conditioning/heater. Forward to port is a full-size bunk with hanging locker, drawers, opening hatches and portlights, wet head, Raritan electric head, air conditioning/heating and a TV. Forward to starboard is a full-size bunk with hanging locker, drawers, air conditioning/heater, opening hatches and portlights, wet head and a Raritan electric head. In the forepeak, accessed through the starboard head or through the deck hatch, is a V-berth or bosun’s locker with a water maker and air conditioning/heater. Aft of the main salon to starboard is the companionway to the aft cabins. The twin over/under bunks are in the starboard side cabin with three opening portlights, a hanging locker and an air conditioning/heater. The next door aft is a shared guest head with an opening port light and Raritan electric head. Farther aft on the starboard side is a guest stateroom with a queen-sized berth, opening hatch, opening portlight and an air conditioning/heater.
EYAHNE’s exterior areas are spacious and uncluttered. The divided cockpits are equipped with Bimini covers and the aft cockpit serves as the helmsman and sail trimmers. The forward cockpit seats eight guests around a teak dining table, perfect for casual alfresco meals, early morning coffee or late night cocktails.
