Exterior Design & Engineering

A stunning yacht from Dutch yard Amels’ early years of yacht building, SHEERGOLD yacht, formerly known as Serafina, was built to the same yacht dimensions as another Amels classic, the 1984 yacht Jamaica Bay.

Designed by the legendary Jon Bannenberg with traditional lines and the canoe stern that was so popular in her heyday, SHEERGOLD yacht second owner has cherished her for the last 30 years, and she is in gleaming condition following a full repaint in 2022.

Powered by twin 775Hp Caterpillar engines, SHEERGOLD yacht cruises at 11.50 knots. She comes with a top speed of 13.50 knots and is fitted with Vosper Wave Beta 3 stabilisers for added onboard comfort.

Amenities

SHEERGOLD yacht has everything a family looking for a classic cruiser could ask for. Her large main salon has lots of room for relaxing, plus a separate formal dining area, while there is a second indoor socialising area with dining table and a curved sofa on the upper deck.

Guests can dine alfresco on the upper deck aft, where the tender is stored when underway, while a C-shaped sofa aft, and a pair of sun beds make this the hub of outdoor entertaining.

There are also further sun pads on the sun deck, some occasional chairs on the main deck aft for more casual occasions, a pair of observation settees on the fore deck.

Interior Design

SHEERGOLD yacht interiors retain lots of her vintage character. Inside, her herringbone wood-panelling and Chesterfield-style sofas are instantly inviting, making guests feel right at home.

SHEERGOLD can accommodate eight guests across four cabins, including a full-beam main deck Owner’s suite, plus a VIP cabin and two twin cabins on the lower deck aft, all with en suite. There is also room on board for nine crew staying in five cabins.
