Amsterdam-based Dykstra Naval Architects has announced the design of a new 53-metre sloop-rigged sailing yacht.
Developed for an experienced sailing family, the vessel is engineered for long-range cruising while maintaining regatta-ready performance.
The project represents an all-Dutch collaboration, with construction planned at Vitters, interior design by Vripack and project management handled by Van Ineveld & Co. The initial rendering reveals a dark hull, characterised by a plumb bow design and an elongated overhanging stern.
Dkystra Naval Architects said: “Versatile by nature, she is equally at home circumnavigating the globe in comfort or competing on the international racing stage. With this new design, Dykstra continues its tradition of delivering yachts that balance performance, innovation and beauty.”
Further design details and construction timelines have not yet been disclosed.
