British builder Sunseeker has announced the delivery of the fourth unit from its 27.1-metre 90 Ocean Enclosed motor yacht model in Asia. Brokerage firm DCH Marine, which represents the brand in the Asia Pacific, was also involved in ensuring a successful handover to the yacht's owner.
According to the shipyard, the 27.1-metre has been delivered to a "younger owner" who previously owned a 23.6-metre Sunseeker 76 Yacht - the first Sunseeker originally sold by DCH Marine. The owner is said to have a "genuine thirst for adventure", with plans already underway for an extensive cruising itinerary on board, including stops in Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia and Australia.
Highlights of the 90 Ocean Enclosed model include an expansive interior volume, an enclosed helm protection for varied climates and long-range cruising capabilities - all ideal features for extensive Asia-Pacific crossings. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins.
“This delivery represents the culmination of many months of hard work by the entire team: DCH sales, DCH service, the Sunseeker shipyard and the designers and engineers," said David Walder, sales director for Sunseeker at DCH Marine. "To see everything come together for an owner who has placed such continued trust in us is incredibly rewarding. Delivering his third yacht in three years is a proud milestone for everyone involved.”
Following her delivery, the yacht will undergo further interior customisations to reflect the owner's evolving tastes and lifestyle.
According to BOATPro, Sunseeker currently has 28 yachts under construction or on order. The shipyard announced the sale of the first unit from its new 40.5-metre 134 yacht model earlier this year.
