Leonardo Cecchi of ArDeMo Yacht & Design has revealed a new 38-metre explorer yacht concept, created in collaboration with designer Andrea Minerva and naval architect Giovanni D’Aloia.
The Horizon 38 will be built in aluminium and is inspired “both by the modern explorer yacht and the classic Navetta”.
Accommodation is for up to ten guests and six crew, including a full-beam owner’s cabin with a private terrace, located on the upper deck. The main saloon is connected to the external cockpit and the aft deck pool and is designed to be a “veranda on the water”.
The explorer yacht’s marine-themed interiors incorporate leather, white marbles and oversized windows to invite in more natural light.
Leisure highlights include a Jacuzzi, two large sunpads forward, unfolding stern bulwarks and a tender garage capable of storing Jet Skis and “other water toys”.
All crew areas are found in the yacht’s bow, accessible by separate pathways to “ensure total privacy”.
With two CAT C32 Acert engines, the explorer yacht has a maximum speed of 20 knots and a range of 1,300 nautical miles at 18 knots.
