Turkish yard Bering Yachts has expanded its explorer yacht line with a 33.1-metre model known as the Bering 110 (B110).
Conceived as a "modern [but] true explorer", the B110 has a range of 4,000+ nautical miles and a strong, broad lines courtesy of London-based studio Red Yacht Design. This design will serve as the inaugural vessel in "an updated superyacht line", according to Bering Yachts, "combining the autonomy and reliability of a robust vessel with the aesthetics, volume and comfort levels synonymous with superyachts".
The B110 is engineered for extended voyages, featuring a full-displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure complemented by a 47,000-litre fuel capacity. At the forefront of the design is practicality, including a large pantry for four weeks of autonomy at sea and an asymmetrical saloon that trades the starboard sidewalk for an extra metre of width. The main deck houses a forward galley, the owner’s cabin with its "classic layout" and four guest cabins below.
Customisation is available with foldable furniture and the option to include a Jacuzzi and bar on the flybridge for charter-friendly clients. There is also room for outdoor dining, a bar and seating in the cockpit, while the beach club can serve as a gym, sauna, lounge or storage for long-range expeditions.
Other key specs include a 8.2-metre beam, a 2.4-metre draft and a volume of 299GT.
"With the Bering 110, we aimed to merge the bold spirit of exploration with the elegance of a superyacht," explained Fatih Sürekli of Red Yacht Design. "She is built to go anywhere in the world while offering the warmth and comfort of a true home at sea."
According to BOATPro, Bering Yachts has four projects on order or under construction. The B110 joins a range of explorer yachts headed by the 49.4-metre B165, which was a hot topic of conversation at last year's Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
