In-build 52m Bilgin 170 superyacht sold with 2027 delivery date

Brokerage firm Fraser has announced the in-house sale of the fourth unit from Bilgin Yachts' Bilgin 170 series, known as NB85. 

Construction on the 52-metre superyacht began under speculation in 2023, with the yard announcing the completion of her technical launch from its facilities in Istanbul, Turkey, in July last year. 

Jan Jaap Minnema of Fraser Monaco and Josh Gulbranson of Fraser USA represented the seller in the deal, while Anton Farber from Fraser Monaco introduced the buyer. Delivery is scheduled for 2027.

According to the shipyard, the yacht has been modelled after "near sistership" Eternal Spark – delivered in June 2024 – with the two builds sharing an exterior designer in Turkish studio Unique Yacht Design. Milanese studio Hot Lab is behind NB85's interior design, in what marks another collaboration with the exterior designers – this time for a yacht that offers both "personal enjoyment and strong charter potential", her brokers noted.

Hot Lab's interior proposal incorporates a palette of cream and grey and textured carpets for a contemporary aesthetic. Materials such as metal-mesh laminated flasses, chromed stainless steel and "rich Italian fabrics" would also be used throughout.

Accommodation is still to be confirmed, with the sales listing previously offering a five or six-cabin layout, with an optional multi-level guest elevator. Key numbers include a 9.3-metre beam, a draught of 2.6 metres and a maximum speed of 16 knots.

Exterior highlights include a range of al fresco dining and lounging spaces, a large sundeck pool flanked with sunpads and a beach club and swim platform. The beach club can be configured as a gym or as a lounge.

According to BOATPro, Bilgin Yachts has 14 yachts currently under construction or on order. The shipyard recently celebrated the launch of the second unit from the Bilgin 170 series.
