58m Codecasa C127 speculation project sold

31 March 2023 • Written by Katia Damborsky

The 57.8-metre Codecasa project known as hull C127, which started construction on speculation, has now been sold.

The vessel was glimpsed for the first time in August 2022 during her technical launch in Pisa, Italy, where she was moved to Viareggio for outfitting. Delivery is on track for later this year.

Design comes from Codecasa’s in-house team, working in close collaboration with Milanese studio M2 Atelier, and has been described as “elegant” and “gritty”. According to the builder, the new construction is set to be one of the "fastest yachts in her category" with a fast-displacement steel hull optimised to reach speeds in excess of 20 knots.

Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, it will have a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Onboard highlights include a beach club with a folding shell door that forms a swim platform, along with a gym, and a four-metre swimming pool on the sundeck. Interiors are yet to be revealed but are said to offer guest accommodation across six cabins, including a spacious owner’s suite, with six double crew cabins and a captain’s cabin.

The announcement follows the sale of another Codecasa project that began under speculation, namely a 43-metre yacht known as hull C124. Currently under construction in Viareggio, hull C124 is due for delivery in June 2024.
