Italian yard Columbus Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has announced the keel-laying of its first Crossover 47 model. Sold to a European client last year, the superyacht is on track for her scheduled 2027 delivery.
Designed by Italian studio Hydro Tec, the 47-metre steel and aluminium yacht is defined by a classic white exterior design, with sharp angled surfaces and darkened windows stretching across the structure. In typical explorer style, the concentration of volumes is focused in the bow area. Her interior styling is owed to Milan-based studio Hot Lab – though interior renderings remain undisclosed at this stage.
Accommodation will be for up to 12 guests, comprising two doubles, two twins and a full-beam master cabin located on the main deck. The master suite features a wardrobe, vanity desk, office and double bathroom. A saloon and formal dining can also be found on the main deck, with a pantry and galley forward.
Outdoor spaces include a round outdoor table on the upper deck, seating six but able to expand to accommodate ten. Up on the sundeck – in addition to spacious sunbathing and relaxation areas – a large bar and a second swimming pool will feature.
At the stern, the model is equipped to carry a tender of up to 3,000kg. The space can also be transformed into an “oasis for relaxation".
On her technical side, the Crossover 47 is powered by twin CAT C32 engines, offering a top speed of over 15 knots and a range of more than 5,500 nautical miles when cruising at 10 knots.
According to BOATPro, Columbus Yachts has four superyacht projects on order or actively under construction. The Italian yard recently released the first interior images of its custom, champagne-coloured superyacht Anjelif.
