Crescent Custom Yachts has announced that its 36.6-metre new build motor yacht Maximus III has been launched and is currently undergoing sea trials. She is expected to be delivered to her owner "in the near future" (2025), according to the yard.
The tri-deck, custom aluminium superyacht was under construction at the Canadian yard’s Vancouver facilities, conceived by Canadian designer Gregory C. Marshall for an experienced owner. The yard noted that the yacht will remain on the West Coast with a Californian owner following her delivery.
Along with Crescent Custom Yachts, the owner has worked closely with Marshall to create a yacht suited to their West Coast lifestyle, which includes a spacious fishing cockpit attached to the aft of the vessel.
Inside, the owner’s "Sky Suite" is situated amidships on the upper deck, featuring expansive views and a private deck accessed by a large sliding door. Additional guest accommodations include a full-beam VIP suite on the main deck with another full-beam VIP suite and two further staterooms on the lower deck.
Maximus III will also house a California-style galley where guests can socialise either on a large dining settee or sitting up at the stone countertop for more informal gatherings. For fresh air, alternative social areas can be found on the top deck, which includes a large sit-up bar, dining table, and Jacuzzi with an accompanying sunpad.
Light woods, white onyx and off-white leather fabrics feature throughout the vessel, with 23 underwater lights surrounding the base of the hull.
Upon delivery, Maximus III will be offered for yacht charters on the West Coast (including the Pacific Northwest and Alaska) during the summer season.
BOAT stepped on board the yard's 50-metre flagship Danzante Bay last year, which currently holds the title as the largest superyacht ever built in Canada.
