New construction images show the yacht taking shape at the Netherlands based yard. Due for delivery in 2022, the SeaXplorer 58 will feature an Ice Class hull for polar navigation and was commissioned by an “experienced” owner planning “globe-trotting exploration”, according to the yard.

Azure Yacht Design has again penned the exterior while Design Unlimited was selected by the owner to pen the “very personal and intriguing” interior, which will “celebrate the spirit of exploration”.

A cabana-style outdoor lounge, complete with a bar and infinity pool, will sit beneath the certified helideck.

The yacht will also feature plentiful storage for carrying an 11.4 metre sailing yacht, two large tenders, a range of toys and even road vehicles and motorbikes.

Speaking about the project, SeaXplorer design manager Enrique Tintore said: “With fresh breezes and shaded ocean vistas, the whole aft of the yacht will be a beautiful and inspiring space to experience the world.”

An open sky lounge, dining space and Jacuzzi will be found above on the upper deck. Accommodation inside the massive 1,090GT interior will be for a total of 12 guests and 15 crew, as well as extra accommodation for two expedition staff.

The SeaXplorer 58 will be capable of sustaining 30 days’ autonomy at sea thanks to chilled rubbish stores and waste-water tanks, allowing the yacht to navigate uninterrupted in “zero-discharge zones”.

This will be the third yacht delivered from Damen Yachting’s SeaXplorer range following the SeaXplorer 62 Anawa and SeaXplorer 77 La Datcha.
