French superyacht designer Jean-Guy Verges has unveiled a 105-metre superyacht concept known as Samouraï.
According to the designer, the yacht has been conceived as a "floating architectural residence" at sea, defined by flowing horizontal lines, generous overhangs and softly sculpted volumes that accentuate the vessel's connection to the water.
Large panoramic glass openings blur the boundary between interior and exterior, while her multiple deck spaces, pools, Jacuzzis and open-air lounges reinforce the feeling of a contemporary private resort. The main deck lounge opens naturally onto a spacious pool area, complete with low-profile furniture, sunpads and carefully selected plants.
A spacious formal dining area also extends onto an additional main deck relaxation space. Below, there is a beach club and spa situated on the lower deck, while the skydeck up top benefits from another pool area.
Inside, the designer was inspired by simplicity, balance and natural harmony, referenced through the use of natural materials, including Mizunara oak, Keyaki wood, natural stones, lacquered surfaces and warm textured fabrics, paired with carefully controlled architectural lighting to evoke sophistication without ostentation.
Up to 12 guests can be comfortably accommodated on board, including a dedicated owner's suite with a spa-like en suite bathroom and a freestanding bath. Here, the space flows effortlessly onto a private deck with uninterrupted views, complete with a pool-like Jacuzzi and a spacious L-shaped sofa.
Power will be from a triple Azipod diesel-electric system.
