US yard Delta Marine has released full details on its 46.3-metre yacht project Zembra, designed for "global travel and deep-sea exploration". This comes shortly after the custom build celebrated a milestone at the yard's Seattle site, with the hull and superstructure now joined.
Built for experienced clients, Zembra reflects "years of planning, refinement and personal involvement" and was commissioned in 2023, according to BOATPro. Previous yachts include a 27-metre Inace explorer and a Nordhavn 86, as the owners told BOAT International in August 2024.
Following the trend, Zembra is an explorer yacht – complete with a full-displacement hull, large windows and clean, angular lines – but will be easily distinguished on the water by her metallic "Arizona bronze" paint job.
Her adventurous design includes a dedicated helicopter landing area on the sundeck, a two-person ICON A5 amphibious aircraft and a three-passenger U-Boat Worx submersible for deep-sea exploration. These will be deployed using a 3,500-pound SWL boom crane mounted on the bridge deck and a gantry crane at the stern.
Inside, the yacht features five cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck. Four large guest cabins will be found below, with one being wheelchair accessible, supported by an elevator that connects all decks. Other highlights include a convertible gym space and a comprehensive water toy inventory, stored in such a way as to "preserve the yacht's clean profile".
