Extra Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has announced the sale of the second unit from its 28-metre X90 Fast yacht model. When delivered, the yacht will join the first unit from the series, Iva, on the water, which was launched in July.
Design is owed to Italian studio Agon Studio, who used gently curved, sporty lines and a forward-projecting design, to characterise the dark-toned GRP model. The second unit was sold with Alina Emerly of Aberton Yachts introducing the buyer.
The onboard layout of the X90 Fast is offered in two versions depending on the galley position, which can be amidships or aft, and there is also the option of a second helm station on the sundeck. The layout of the second unit is yet to be revealed.

Model highlights include an expansive and versatile sundeck with modular areas for lounging or dining, as well as a three-tiered stern which offers seamless access from the main deck aft to the swim platform. There is also a garage capable of housing a 4-metre jet tender, located beneath the aft sunpad.
Accommodation is across four en suite cabins below deck, including a master cabin amidships, which takes advantage of the yacht's 7.4-metre beam. There are further quarters for a crew of four. Interiors are characterised by warm, contemporary and bright features, designed to enhance the feeling of wellbeing and ease the experience at sea.
Power is from three 1,000 hp Volvo Penta engines, delivering a maximum speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots. At 12 knots, the X90 Fast offers a range of approximately 1,000 nautical miles.
According to BOATPro, Extra Yachts currently has three units on order, all from the yard's 30-metre Extra 100 Triplex series. The sale of the third unit was announced in September.
