Austrian shipyard Ladenstein Yachts has announced that construction is progressing on the first hull in its flagship series, the Ladenstein 88.
The lamination of the superstructure and hull was recently completed at the shipyard's facilities in Bang Pakong, Bangkok, with delivery to her owner scheduled for May 2025.
Both exterior and interior styling has been completed in house. Key numbers include a 6.9-metre beam and a draft of 1.8 metres.
Accommodation is customisable, with the proposed layout spread across five cabins. This includes a full-beam, en suite VIP cabin equipped with a dressing table, wardrobe space and a table with chairs. Both the owner's cabin and the VIP cabin features a bath, double sinks and additional wardrobe space.
The new model offers more than 75 square metres of space on its main deck, including a main saloon with head heights of up to 2.3 metres. Full-height windows and optional semi-electric sliding doors result in a bright and airy interior, arranged with chaise-lounge sofas and a retractable, rotating television that allows guests to watch movies from the saloon and the cockpit.
A conversation starter is the main saloon's secret bar, which appears from behind the decorative panels once a button is pressed to reveal a wine rack, a wine cooler, a coffee machine and a sink.
Stepping outdoors, the Ladenstein 88's "beach balcony" has a formal dining area, a versatile sofa for dining and sunbathing and a glass veranda. This area connects to the beach club and its sea-level balconies, which can accommodate one tender up to 4.4 metres and one 3.3-metre Jet Ski. There is also space for an optional sauna, gym equipment or water toys.
Up top, guests will find the sundeck which at 63 square metres is one of the "largest in her class", according to the shipyard. A fully equipped Teppanyaki bar, al fresco dining, a Jacuzzi and an exterior glass shower are found here, alongside the helm which features an "innovative lowering platform" to enable full use of the space when not underway.
The final communal space is the foredeck, which "at the touch of a button" can be transformed into a sports area with a golfing set up and integrated treadmill. When in default mode, it features a seating area and sunloungers.
The first hull will be equipped with twin MAN engines for a maximum speed of 35 knots. Clients can choose from MAN, MTU or Volvo IPS propulsion.
Ladenstein Yachts relocated its production from Austria and Italy to Thailand in 1994. The shipyard also produces a 23.5-metre and 21.9-metre model.
