Dutch design studio Mulder Design has unveiled a 69-metre high-speed cruising yacht concept.
Designed for owners seeking long-range capability without compromising speed, elegance or onboard comfort, the concept is being developed entirely in-house and combines a "powerful and contemporary" exterior with the studio's signature high-speed cruising hull philosophy.
Efficiency is central to the design. Unlike traditional displacement yachts optimised for a single cruising speed, the 69-metre concept features an advanced hull platform crafted to operate comfortably and efficiently through economical transoceanic passages as well as during high-speed cruising.
Her exterior styling has been fashioned around her dual personality. Strong horizontal lines, expansive glazing and a sharp bow profile combine to create a "sleek and purposeful" appearance.
Expansive deck spaces, including a private owner’s deck, and generous guest accommodation create a seamless flow between interior and exterior spaces, while providing an inviting setting for extended cruising and entertaining at anchor.
On the technical side, the yacht is powered by twin MTU 20V4000M93L engines coupled to Voith Linear Jets. The vessel also benefits from a reduced draft, high manoeuvrability and exceptional ride comfort at speed.
The concept is the studio's second to champion high-speed cruising capabilities this year. In June, the studio unveiled the first details of a new 60-metre superyacht concept known as Apex.
