Turkish yard Numarine has taken the opportunity of the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival to reveal its latest explorer yacht model, the 27XP.
A refinement of the 26XP series, which began in 2018 with Gioia, the 27XP offers an improved LOA of 27 metres, increased volume and a "creatively reimagined, flexible design". This is best seen in the expanded galley and dining offering, which includes an open kitchen concept not typically seen on a pocket explorer. Her sharp, masculine lines are counterbalanced by soft interiors, both by long-standing collaborator Can Yalman, with Italian designer Umberto Tagliavini returning for naval architecture.
Flexible accommodation can house between eight and 10 guests, with the larger configuration featuring three full VIP suites, an additional guest cabin and a "dramatically expanded" full-beam master suite with a bathroom and walk-in closet. When the four-cabin option is chosen, the wheelhouse is placed on the main deck rather than on the enclosed flybridge.
Venturing outside, the 27XP has a raised bow lounge – complete with elevated seating for clear ocean views – and a "supersized flybridge" that is both longer and wider than the one found on board the 26XP.
"After keeping our cards close to our chests for a little while as we worked on refining the design, we are thrilled to unveil this latest model," said Ömer Malaz, founder and chairman of Numarine. "Longer, roomier and more versatile than her predecessor, she introduces new levels of comfort, light and openness, while still keeping the rugged explorer spirit which defines our XP series."
Twin MAN 560 engines propel the 27XP to a top speed of 13.5 knots and a range of 2,200 nautical miles at eight knots.
According to BOATPro, Numarine has seven superyacht projects on order or under construction, the bulk of which belong to its 30XP series. The yard recently celebrated the delivery of its flagship model, the 39.4-metre Miouch.
