German designer Frank Neubelt has revealed details and renderings of his latest concept at the Dubai International Boat Show to be produced by his affiliated studio German Yacht Couture (GYC).

Described by Neubelt as a “family world cruiser,” the Ocean 160 is defined by a modern, streamlined profile with sleek lines.

“The Ocean 160 is characterised by elegant, contemporary, signature exterior styling,” said Neubelt.

The concept features spacious outdoor decks with an impressive range of amenities including an 18 metre swimming pool, a beach club and a touch-and-go helipad.

A unique element of this concept is the separate wheelhouse on the forward deck offering accommodation for the captain and officers.

Interior spaces meanwhile have been styled by Camillo Costantini of Luminary Italian studio using purely sustainable materials. The Ocean 160 will also be powered by a hybrid engine system for reduced emissions.

Neubelt has described the layout and interior volume as equivalent to that of an 80 metre yacht, with a double-height saloon, a Neptune lounge and a private cinema. Living areas can host up to 36 guests when entertaining.

The Ocean 160 follows the news of another recent concept by the Neubelt, the 95m explorer concept named GO-95.
