Palladino Yacht Design has unveiled a 110-metre explorer yacht concept known as Wild One.
The explorer instantly stands out for her masculine profile, characterised by a commanding reverse bow, multiple-tiered decks and expansive, elongated glazing. Sculptural lines across her superstructure, curved windows amidships and circular hull windows cleverly offset the yacht's taut angles and living spaces, creating a dynamic interplay of lines and structure.
In keeping with her explorer DNA, Wild One has been developed to adapt to different global climates with ease, offering configurations for both warmer climates and cooler temperatures.
The "summer configuration" features two large purple oval structures on the observation deck - not merely aesthetic, but designed as functional, motorised sunpads that glide along a track at the push of a button. The sunpads offer both uninterrupted forward and lateral views over the overhanging deck and can be reclined for additional comfort or transformed into casual seat areas for a more social space.
In colder climates, the observation deck can be fully enclosed by an advanced automatic roof system, with curved glass also providing a more sheltered environment for guests. The midship open deck follows a similar pattern, with a protruding roof and enclosing panels creating a protected indoor-outdoor area. Here, a pool extends into the main superstructure, forming an enclosed beach club, while a central window rises to create one "expansive aquatic feature".
Other interesting features on board include a small vehicle collection (including sports cars, off-road vehicles, ATVs and a luxury SUV) with a dedicated landing craft and a relaxed “man cave” with a bar, cigar lounge, pool table and media wall. Other amenities include a wellness centre beneath the aft helipad with a juice bar, yoga studio and sauna, as well as a cinema, gym, wine cellar and beach club.
Positioned forward of the explorer is the owner's suite with a "dramatic" two-deck living space centred around a large circular window. The studio has envisioned the space as a combined library, office, lounge and adjoining aft deck for both grandeur and intimacy.
"Altogether, this yacht concept stands out for its innovative use of space, seamless indoor-outdoor integration and its ability to cater to both adventure and indulgence in equal measure," said studio founder Gregg Palladino.
The studio presented a 95-metre concept last year with striking deck levels to “accentuate height, depth and architectural continuity”.
