Preparations are well underway for the 2021 Palm Beach International Boat Show, which is due to take place this weekend from March 25-28.
This year's COVID secure 35th edition follows the cancellation of 2020's event due to the coronavirus pandemic. Hundreds of boats, including a premium selection of superyachts, are set to attend the event.
Event organiser Informa previously explained that it was working closely with the City of West Palm Beach to create an entirely open-air event with enhanced safety measures. The show will now feature four entrances and exits to the show and all attendees are required to wear masks.
President of Informa Markets US Boat Shows, Andrew Doole, said the “health and safety of staff, exhibitors and visitors” remains the “number one priority”.
“We also recognise the importance of our boat shows to the local and state economy, and the marine industry at large. We look forward to safely welcoming boating enthusiasts and marine businesses to the Palm Beach show, in a world-famous destination during the most beautiful time of year,” he added.
As well as exhibiting a selection of yachts and accessories, the Palm Beach International Boat Show’s AquaZone will allow visitors to experience in-water demos, testing, contests and prizes at a new open-air location at the south end of the show.
