21 March 2014 • Written by Tom Isitt

Dubois Yachts and Burgess have sent news that they are offering a €400,000 price reduction on their joint listing, the 29.1m sailing yacht Alcanara.

Said to be a true yachtsman’s yacht, this Dubois design was built by Steve Ward in Australia and was delivered in 2009. Alcanara was built to Lloyd's class to exacting standards for an Olympic yachtsman, and is seaworthy, elegant and fast. She is at the top of her class in terms of construction, fit out and performance.

An interior designed by the highly-acclaimed Rhoades Young evokes a relaxed, light and sophisticated feel, with sumptuous Italian fabrics and marble used throughout, as well as custom carpets in pure New Zealand wool. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins.

Her asking price is down from €6.2 million to €5.8 million.
