Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has delivered the second hull in its RJ 115 series, the 34.9-metre yacht Pazienza. Her Australian owner was introduced to CdM Australia by Sean Madgwick and Scott Wellington-Stones of Yachtsmen International.
Francesco Paszkowski is responsible for both the exterior and interiors, balancing the sporty profile of her series with the performances of an explorer yacht – including a cruising range of more than 5,500 nautical miles. Paszkowski's hallmarks are visible across the vessel’s slender, rakish bow and robust profile. Naval architecture is owed to Hydro Tec.
Accommodation is for 12 guests in six cabins (plus one pullman bed), including a spacious owner’s cabin with openable windows in both the cabin and office on the main deck forward. There is further accommodation for a crew of five. For the interiors, Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini collaborated on a "diverse palette" of light and dark tones across veneers, panelling, marbles, stones, and upholstery.
The sundeck is the largest outdoor area on board, arranged with an Agate stone-clad swimming pool and spacious bar. There is also a dining area and a dedicated relaxation area forward, complete with sofa seating and sun loungers.
Pazienza is equipped with two tenders. One of these is stowed on the upper deck’s stern terrace during long journeys and can be launched and retrieved with a concealed crane. A dedicated garage at the stern (with an opening hatch on the starboard side) accommodates the second tender along with various water toys.
Powered by twin CAT C18 engines, Pazienza has a maximum speed of 13.5 knots and a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
According to BOATPro, CdM has 17 yachts currently under construction.
This includes the third hull in its Flexplorer 146 series, commissioned by a "young, enthusiastic" owner who chose Winch Design for the yacht's eco-friendly interiors.
