Dutch shipyard Steeler Yachts has announced the sale of the third unit from its Ocean Explorer 85 yacht series. The 26-metre yacht is already under construction at the yard's Meppel facilities, known as Project 511.
The new build follows the first from the series, Aviso, which was delivered last year as the yard's flagship, and the second, Moss, which began sea trials in February. Like her sisterships, Project 511 will be constructed to CE Category A (Ocean Going) standards, with a steel round-bilged hull and aluminium superstructure from Dutch designer Edwin van der Mark, though she will have a slightly wider beam of 6.9 metres. Naval architecture is owed to Studio Delta.
Project 511 will feature an interior developed by Kitty van der Kamp, with a layout completely customised to the owner's preferences.
Accommodation is across four lower deck suites, including a crew cabin for two near a dedicated utility room. The main deck has been designed around a versatile wheelhouse that can be enclosed or opened towards the saloon via high-low partitions, with a spacious galley and lounge area completing the layout.

Above, the flybridge has been designed for comfort and further flexibility, thanks to a full wet bar, dedicated sports area and a forward-facing lounge area for unobstructed views ahead while underway. For Project 511, Steeler will also integrate its electrically operated high-low flybridge windows, allowing the space to be easily opened or enclosed.
Power will be from twin MAN engines, delivering a range of over 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of eight knots.
