From Monaco to Capri, BOAT's yacht spotters keep a keen eye out for the standout superyachts dropping anchor in the Mediterranean, including La Datcha, Luna and Solaris

Solaris in Juan-le-Pins

The 139.7 metre Lloyd Werft superyacht Solaris has been spotted at the end of the Mediterranean summer season anchored in the bay between Juan-le-Pins and Cannes. Delivered in 2021, Solaris was designed by Marc Newson and features a large helipad, sun deck and spacious beach club aft. Solaris also features a total of eight decks.

Elements in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

The 80 metre superyacht Elements has been spotted enjoying the last of the summer season in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France. Delivered in 2019 by Yachtley, Elements features exterior design by Alpha Marine and features on board accommodation for a total of 24 guests in 12 cabins. Fully equipped for charter, the yacht boasts a professional galley, pantries on all decks and a crew of up to 30. 

My Legacy in Viareggio

The 56 metre Codecasa superyacht My Legacy has been spotted arriving back into its home yard in Viareggio following its maiden season cruising the Mediterranean. The yacht, which was delivered in July 2021, is set to undergo "fine-tuning" at the yard. My Legacy features a large swimming pool on the sun deck surrounded by a spacious sunbathing area while power comes from a pair of Caterpillar 3512E engines for a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 5,000 miles at 12 knots.

Lady Gulya in Juan-les-Pins

German yard Lürssen's 111 metre Lady Gulya (previously Tis) has been spotted during an evening cruise off Juan-les-Pins in France. Delivered in 2019, the six-deck yacht was penned inside and out by British studio Winch Design and has a curved superstructure that contrasts with the hull's straight lines. 

Rising Sun in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

The huge 138 metre Lürssen Rising Sun was spotted sailing in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, enjoying the summer season. Designed in-house and constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the yacht is currently moored in La Ciotat. Four MTU diesel engines provide an impressive top speed of 28 knots for a yacht of its size, with a cruising speed of 26 knots.

Aquila in Èze-sur-Mer

The 85.6 metre Aquila was spotted sailing near Èze-sur-Mer. Originally delivered in 2010 as Cakewalk by builder Derecktor, the yacht now has an entirely new exterior and interiors after undergoing a massive refit at Pendennis in August 2016. Aquila is now moored at Genoa, according to Boat Pro data

Amadea in Èze sur Mer

Lürssen's 106 metre Amadea has been spotted in Èze sur Mer in late May and is now moored in Nice according to Boat Pro data. Despite its size and astonishingly detailed finish, the yacht's construction was quick - from the first steel cutting, delivery took just 31 months. Listed for sale with Imperial Yachts, Amadea is considered one of the most exclusive superyachts in the world. 

Lady Jorgia in Beaulieu-sur-Mer

The CRN superyacht Lady Jorgia has been spotted in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. The 74 metre superyacht is now enjoying the summer season cruising around Sardinia, according to Boat Pro data. Designed by Zuccon International Project, the yacht boasts a range of 6000 nautical miles and a top speed of 16.5 knots. 

DAR in Villefranche-sur-Mer

The 90 Oceanco superyacht DAR has been spotted in Villefranche-sur-Mer and is now currently at anchor off Cap d'Antibes. First launched in 2018, the shark-inspired DAR was designed by Luiz de Basto and features an interior by Nuvolari Lenard. BOAT stepped on board the superyacht in 2020 for a behind-the-scenes tour.  

Lana in Beaulieu-sur-Mer

The massive 107 metre Benetti superyacht Lana was spotted anchored in Beaulieu-sur-Mer following its delivery in June 2020. Previously known as FB 277, Lana is one of the largest yachts ever built by Benetti. Lana's naval architecture was penned by Benetti and Pierluigi Ausonio while the exterior and interior design was completed in-house.
