Tecnomar Nadara 40 superyacht Low Profile launched

9 June 2014 • Written by Risa Merl

The Italian Sea Group has launched its new Tecnomar Nadara 40 superyacht, aptly named Low Profile.

The Group reports this as its third launch of the year – while technically the first to hit the water was a floating barge that will increase its ability to launch yachts up 90 metres, not a yacht itself. The 35m superyacht Foam was launched by Admiral Tecnomar in May of this year, and after Low Profile four more launches are planned for 2014 from the Italian Sea Group.

Low Profile's sporty, tri-deck superyacht is built in all-aluminium and rides on a fast-planing hull, topping out at 26 knots. A dual paint job of dark grey hull contrasting with light grey superstructure enhances her sleek exterior styling.

The interior styling has hints of glamour, with mirrored ceilings with brass inserts, crystal lamps, a marble-top bar, and a handmade, custom dining room table with a glass backlit panel that seats 10 guests. The full-beam upper saloon is similarly outfitted, with marble floors, mirrored ceilings, a 65 inch TV, wet bar and a double chaise longue that can be converted into a bed. Up top, the sun deck hosts a Jacuzzi, bar, and barbecue.

The main-deck master features large windows bringing in plenty of natural light, and the master shower boasts a chromo therapy shower and bathtub. Four guest staterooms can be found on the lower deck, comprising two twin cabins, a double and a spacious VIP. Two crew cabins are also located on the lower deck while the captain's cabin is located on the upper deck.

Admiral Tecnomar USA announced plans last fall to bring three new models to this year's Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, including the new Nadara 40.
