British studio Design Unlimited has offered a first look at W-Magic's interiors. The 44.3-metre sailing yacht was delivered from Dutch yard Vitters earlier this year and is now cruising off the coast of Palma, Mallorca, according to BOATPro.
A fast cruising sloop, W-Magic has a trim grey exterior by US-based Reichel Pugh Yacht Design, with new imagery revealing her warm, "shimmering" interiors. The project was the client's first collaboration with Design Unlimited, with the British studio tasked with "creating an interior that exudes effortless grace and achieves a cohesive style".
The resulting spaces are warm and sophisticated, featuring nubuck leathers, natural timber flooring and grey lacquer cabinetry. The yacht also benefits from a curated selection of finishes meant to reflect the "distinctive look" found in the owner's properties, designed in partnership with Pieter Laureys. A full-length deckhouse skylight provides ample natural light.
Worth noting is the master suite and its statement island armoire, his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes and a private study. The remaining accommodation encompasses a double cabin to port, two flexible cabins aft and a bunk cabin for children to starboard.
W-Magic has been described as having "modern, dynamic exterior lines" with ample glass and a modern superstructure.
Expansive deck spaces are found aft and forward, while the transom area can be converted into a large beach club close to the water. A sunbathing pad and two outside seating areas offer plenty of options for al fresco dining.
Technical innovations include two "submarine" anchor systems and a "peak shaving" battery system.
The Dutch yard has three yachts actively under construction, including the world's first "zero fossil fuel" sailing yacht. An update on the landmark build, known as Project Zero, was provided by Vitters in June 2024.
