It's not every day that a yacht's brief is centred around sports – especially tennis. But on 98.4-metre Aviva, this was a goal from the outset. “Build a big yacht around a padel tennis court was the main brief, I guess,” explained the yard’s project manager Andreas Hering, with admirable understatement, before adding: “In three years.” This sports court is at the centre of Aviva, literally and figuratively. The hybrid squash/tennis court is part of the owner's daily routine, who had in the past limited his travels to places where there was a court onshore. Now he can take his workout of choice everywhere he goes.

The popular social media star Loon has earned its reputation as a haven for sports enthusiasts and thrill seekers. This yacht for charter boasts an impressive inventory of toys for fun on the water, overflowing with Seabobs, wakeboards, e-foils, towables, FunAir inflatables and more. But sporting fun on board extends beyond the watersports; the yacht now features a state-of-the-art SeaDrive CX golfing simulator from Off the Deck. This system allows guests to practice their swing and play virtual rounds on some of the world’s most famous golf courses, hitting the biodegradable balls into any ocean. Users can tee off around the clock with integrated deck lights for nighttime play. The yacht also carries the FunAir Golf Floating Green, creating a visual target to add fun to the simulator.

The facility is a testament to the yacht's commitment to active lifestyles. Featuring an array of top-tier equipment, including three Peloton bikes, a treadmill, an elliptical trainer, and a Reformer Pilates machine, fitness advocates will not want for more. Complementing the machines are medicine balls, mats and resistance bands. The floor-to-ceiling windows and the gym's elevated position enable guests to work out with a view, with opening doors for the sea breeze. Guests who are looking to take their pickleball game up a notch or two can continue to enhance their fitness levels in the fold-out beach club hosting waterside workouts in the well-appointed gym space.

Delivered in 2024, King Benji pushes the boundaries of amenities and facilities onboard for fun, adventure and sport. Brought to life by the adventurous owner Josh Golder and Dunya Yachts, this go-anywhere explorer yacht is available for charter and redefines what is possible on board in terms of activities at sea. While King Benji has the standard catalogue of toys – including an unusually generous addition of four jet skis – one of her coolest additions is the FunAir climbing wall installation, perfect for adrenaline-seeking guests. Once back down at sea level, there is also a FunAir water joust arena that the crew can set up for any aspiring gladiators.

The sporting fun isn't missed inside; the cinema room provides a great area to stream the latest sporting games.
