Why charter Moka?

Delivered in 2015 and recently refitted in 2023, Moka was a hugely important project for the Italian shipyard, Sanlorenzo, as she was the first real explorer yacht to emerge from the yard. Specifically designed for long-range cruising, Moka is fully equipped, offering all the services and the spacious interior needed for the owner to be at sea for prolonged periods.

The yacht's interior is a careful blend of opulence and laid-back style, which is designed to make charter guests feel at ease. The yacht for charter has a neutral colour palette, with taupe and white brought to life by pops of soft green and grey. There is also a combination of light and dark woods on board, including white oak and mahogany. The interiors are also flooded with natural light thanks to the large windows throughout.

Moka, is classified as “Green Plus” by RINA (Royal Institution of Naval Architects). She is able to remain anchored for long periods without using generators, eliminating emissions, vibration, and noise. Her superstructure is also located further forward than usual, leaving a large stern area on the lower deck that can accommodate several tenders and toys for extra entertainment on board.

Interior mood

The interior design was completed in-house by the Sanlorenzo team in conjunction with the commissioning owners. The result is a light and modern feel which has been designed to feel intrinsically liveable. Large windows ensure that the interiors (specifically the main saloon) are flooded with natural light, working with the natural woods and neutral colour scheme to create a homely feel on board.

Accommodation on board is for up to 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a main-deck master suite, two queen VIP suites and three twins, all with entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities. Like the rest of the yacht's interiors, the guest accommodation features light wooden finishes and natural textures. Each of the en suite bathrooms has marble accents too.

Out on deck

With the superstructure shifted forward, the main aft deck is one of Moka's most striking features. Here on deck lies a Chris-Craft Capri 21, in matching livery to the hull’s olive green. A hefty four-ton crane can lift and stow anything up to 10 metres on this deck. Yet, when cleared at anchor, this space becomes a vast sunning or party deck.

The aft deck is the prime spot to sunbathe, enjoy the sea, or swim against the current in the large infinity pool. The stern area also offers a complete beach club, with a bar, storage and a dive space.

The main dining area on board is on the sundeck aft, where there is a table for the full complement of guests as well as additional spaces for lounging and sundowners. There are additional spaces on board for morning coffees and sweet treats overlooking the water.
