Hello,

We want to make Boat International the best destination for owners and lovers of superyachts, and we need your help to tell us more about yourselves and what interests you.

Our reader survey covers work, income, interests and hobbies, and most importantly – yacht ownership. We will use your responses to inform the boats we write about, the subjects we cover, and the advertising you will see.

It will take 5-10 minutes to complete. All answers are completely anonymous, and the responses are collected by our research partner, Tapestry.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Superyacht Makira joins Fraser Yachts charter fleet

Daniela De Marco tells me Fraser Yachts has welcomed the 43m Leopard motor yacht Makira to its charter fleet, and is offering her for charters in the West Med this summer.

Launched in 2010 and built to a design by Studio Bacigalupo under ABS Class, Makira features a contemporary interior by Cristiano Gatto and offers accommodation for nine guests in a master suite, VIP cabin, double cabin and twin cabin with Pullman berth.

Makira boasts a spa pool, the latest sound systems and a wide selection of toys including two WaveRunners and two Segways to keep even the most active guests entertained.

Capable of reaching a top speed of 35 knots, she is also very stable at anchor thanks to the zero speed stabilisers.

Based in the South of France and available in the West Mediterranean all summer, Makira charters at a weekly rate of €130,000 in high season and €115,000 in low season.
