Sea Spa: Hareer Spa by L’Occitane at The Shangri-La Al Husn Hotel, Oman

Where is The Hareer Spa by L’Occitane?

The Hareer Spa by L’Occitane can be found between the dusty-rose coloured walls of Oman's Shangri-La Al Husn hotel. Perched on the sun-drenched coastline near Muscat, the clifftop resort overlooks the Gulf of Oman from it's Arabian-style arched windows and walkways.

What's it Like?

This modern take on a Middle Eastern palace is where adventurous yacht owners and well-heeled ex-pats from across the Gulf come to wind down. The infinity pool, fringed with date palms, is a showstopper and the private beach nestled between rugged limestone cliffs is a tranquil sea turtle sanctuary.

The Shangri-La Al Husn hotel in Muscat, Oman, is home to the Hareer Spa by L’Occitane.

Treatments at The Hareer Spa by L’Occitane

For serious pampering try the signature Omani Honey Heaven treatment, a unique fusion of French and Arabian goodness. The scrub, made with Omani sea salt, sugar granules and French flower pollen, is freshly mixed an hour before your appointment and fully organic – in fact, it’s so natural it’s literally good enough to eat. Add locally sourced warm honey oil and you have a recipe for pure indulgence. A gentle 30-minute top-to-toe exfoliation is followed by an hour’s relaxing massage blending various techniques – light Swedish strokes, Chinese acupressure and Balinese stretching – effectively easing tensions and melting away every ounce of stress. You’ll come out not only with baby-soft skin but also smelling like a delicious dessert.

Best by Boat

Just 800 metres from the Al Husn resort is the Al Mina Marina, where a members-only yacht club will launch at the end of the year.
