Koru
Builder: Oceanco
Length: 125.8m
Year: 2023
Owned by American billionaire and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, the 125.8-metre sailing yacht Koru made history as the largest Dutch-built yacht in the world. The three-masted sailing yacht features intricate gold paintwork and a scarlet bootstripe, but her most distinguishing feature is the elaborate figurehead made of polished wood. In terms of boating superstitions and good omens to abide by, these female figureheads are thought to be a token of good luck – and Koru's wears a pendant necklace with a symbol some have speculated to be the Māori symbol meaning "koru".

One of the yachts currently on charter for the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix, HBC boasts a vivid bi-colour exterior (tri-colour if you include the pop of yellow at the waterline). Her four-million-euro refit in 2022 welcomed brand-new interiors from British studio Winch Design and a seven-metre hull extension, which saw the arrival of a new glass-bottom swimming pool – earning her a worthy spot as one of the coolest beach clubs in the world.
Infinite Jest
Builder: Turquoise Yachts
Length: 75m
Year: 2023
It was thanks to Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and New York designer Julie Hillman that the marriage of residential and maritime functionalities on board Infinite Jest was possible. The 75-metre had long-range travel as part of her brief from the outset and cruised down to Antarctica shortly after her delivery. Noting the overall improved build quality and enhanced offerings to come from this yard, the judges awarded Infinite Jest the "Displacement Motor Yachts, 1,500GT and above" Neptune at the 2024 World Superyacht Awards.

Builder: Tecnomar - The Italian Sea Group
Length: 43.5m
Year: 2024
While ArtExplorer may hold the spot for the largest sailing catamaran, This Is It certainly delivers in terms of mind-bending design, namely the central glass pool – set at an angle, floating between the dual hulls – complete with a cascading waterfall. The yacht was commissioned by a young client who wanted something that was "completely new" with the intent to cruise in Greek seas and the multihull design was chosen to counteract the country's challenging winds and waves.
