Avanti hit the water in 2004 and was commissioned by an exacting and adventurous owner. The brief required a private owner’s area, helicopter capability, a professional dive centre and the ability to cruise for thirty days at a time.
Spanning five decks, her interiors are a masculine take on the Art Deco movement and were devised by award-winning studio Winch Design. Beautiful stonework features throughout, each stone handpicked from Italy for its detail and colour.
Avanti can sleep up to 12 guests in six cabins including an immense, two-story owner’s apartment that occupies the forward portion of the main and upper decks. This self-contained suite houses a private observation lounge and owner’s sun deck with his and hers walk-in wardrobes and bathrooms. The remaining guest accommodation is split between the upper deck, home to a VIP suite, and the lower deck with four additional cabins, two of which can be linked to form a second VIP suite. A freestanding spiral staircase connects the interior levels.
